The venue of the event was "Shimokita Line Street Vacant Lot". This hands-on event focused on the connection between people and the city of Shimokitazawa, with drinks, food, DJs, and vintage clothing. Although the event has been canceled for safety reasons on Friday, the 2nd, we went to the event site ahead of others and would like to introduce its charm and how to enjoy it.

At this event, drinks using Irish whiskey from the organizer will be served. So, when you arrive at the venue, the first thing you do is gobble down a drink at the bar counter.

There are two types of drinks: the "Jameson Soda," which is made with "Jameson Standard" and other drinks that are not peculiar and go well with the meal, and the bartender's original drink.

Standing at the bar counter that day was "JAMESON BARTENDERS' BALL JAPAN 2013" champion, Retsu Oyama. He served us "Alexandria," an original menu item made by adding muscat juice, lime, and soda to "Jameson Standard. The fruity and refreshing aroma enhances the taste of "Jameson".

Standing at the bar counter during the event will be Mr. Komei Hirota, manager of Shimokitazawa's "SOUNDS GOOD," the runner-up at the "JAMESON BARTENDERS' BALL JAPAN 2014. The original menu is a treat on the day of the event, but since the flavor changes, we recommend drinking both "Jameson Soda" and "Jameson Soda" to enjoy the difference. When you start to get hungry after a few drinks, it's time for food. At this venue, kitchen cars will be serving food that goes well with whiskey. Four restaurants operating in Shimokitazawa will be opening stalls.

The offerings include not only the regular menu, but also a menu prepared especially for the occasion.

Vegan Chinese Box ¥1,000

OSCAR, which offers vegan American Chinese food, has developed a special "Vegan Chinese Box" filled with Chao Main (fried noodles) and Orange Chicken (fried chicken). The strong seasoning is highly compatible with the food, and the volume, which does not seem very much like a vegan menu, is also very satisfying.

Also, you can enjoy "Chicken Curry and Lamb Pork Keema Aigake" at "Kitchen Mizutani" which will be open on the 3rd and 4th. Choose according to your mood.

The current Shimokitazawa is all about secondhand clothing. Two Shimokitazawa vintage clothing stores, "WEGO VINTAGE Shimokitazawa" and "KAKKO," were present at the venue. This time, they selected more green clothes inspired by "Jameson.

One of the more unusual features of this event is the free service of customizing an original patch for each piece of vintage clothing purchased at the venue.

In addition, "GENERAL RECORD STORE" will be open on the 3rd and "JAZZY SPORT SHIMOKITAZAWA" on the 4th, so you can even dig for records. Just be careful not to spill your drink!

Besides, you can also choose from three different patterns to get a tattoo. but it is an experience of Jagua Tattoo, a vegetable dye tattoo that does not damage the skin and disappears in two weeks. It will disappear over time, so those who are interested can try it out.

The venue for this event is filled with features such as table soccer, a lawn area, and a place to learn about Jameson's Irish whiskey and compare the differences with American whiskey and scotch.

The reason for this is that, just like in Ireland, the home of the "Jameson," we want the pub to be a place where people can meet strangers and also a means of communication between people. The venue is open until 9:00 p.m., but it would be a shame to let that be the end of the event! That's what they thought, and in cooperation with stores in Shimokitazawa, they are also organizing a stamp rally.

Seven participating stores are bar TAKIBI, BANANA MOON, DUKE CAPO, GOOD TIME BAR, BAR FORCE, SOUND GOOD, and Shimokitazawa Bar Seven.
