A new star has appeared in the world of eyewear.

The brand name is YAGAN STONE EYEWEAR. The brand is headed by Kwame Morris, whose father is Stevie Wonder, a musician well known to everyone.

He says that he has infused the brand with his father's vast collection of eyewear, which is also his trademark, his music, and his sensitivity to a wide range of cultures and people.

The commemorative first model is "DYLAN". As the name suggests, this piece pays homage to the great musician Bob Dylan.

It is hard to tell from the photo because of the black color scheme, but the original cut vegitated onyx is placed on the front and temples. Onyx is also embedded in the inside of the temples in dots, which is said to represent respect for his father.

The frames are made of acetate by Matskelli, and the lenses are made of mineral glass by Barberini.

The debut edition is limited to 100 pieces worldwide and is numbered. It comes with a handmade Italian leather case, lens cloth, and certificate of authenticity.

It will be handled exclusively by Selima Optik and GOGOSHA in the U.S. and Globespecs in Japan. Sales will start on Saturday, June 17.
