Based on the "drop-zero" coat developed by Caruso, or in other words, a coat that falls down smoothly without a waistband, the pattern and design have been updated for this work. While the coat is solidly made with a wool core, the lining is half-lined, making it lightweight.

The idea of lightness is not only in the weight, but also in the sense of balance when worn. The classic knee-length, single-sleeved, raglan design has been retained, but the balance has been adjusted to create a more casual feel by not using a winged tailoring.

The two fabrics chosen are a plain wool-cotton material and a checked wool material. The coat, with its exquisite balance, will go on sale Friday, June 16.
