New Balance's current enthusiasm in the fashion world is due in no small part to the appointment of Teddy Santis as Creative Director of the Made in the USA collection.
On June 23 (Fri.), a new collaboration model with Aimé Leon Dore will go on sale at select stores.

Inspired by the basketball culture of the 80's, the Teddy Santis is based on the PRIDE 650, a basketball shoe introduced in 1989. The shoe has been reissued for off-court use, rearranged to Emme Léon Doré's specifications.
Incidentally, this model was unveiled for the first time at the "New York City 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament" held on Saturday, June 10. This is an event that Emme Leon Doré has hosted every year, and this year, New Balance joined in to co-host the event.
They are available in three colors: white/black, white/green, and white/blue. All have a simple coloring based on white, with the gum sole adding a subtle accent. Since the model is derived from basketball shoes, it is also equipped with high shock absorption and cushioning properties.
The modern design that fits in with the city, as well as the story behind the adoption of the "650" by "Emme Léon Doré," which has supported basketball culture, make this an excellent pair.
