ARC'TERYX, which started its predecessor brand in Canada in 1989, is now a favorite not only among outdoor users but also in the fashion industry and on the streets. The company opened four stores last year and now operates 13 stores in Japan, and it appears that a new store will open this year as well. There will be three new stores in Ginza, Shinsaibashi, and Fukuoka.
Arc'teryx already has a store in Ginza, but the new store at GINZA SIX will be a women's store. It is likely to be a store unlike any other.
The Shinsaibashi location will be the largest flagship store in Japan, with three spacious floors. It will be the second REBIRD™ counter in Japan, following the Marunouchi store in Tokyo.
Fukuoka, which will be the first street-level store in Kyushu, will also serve as a base for local culture, with an opening event planned in collaboration with an art unit based in Fukuoka.
