Niseko is also interesting in summer! The event produced by Cinema Caravan, a culture collective, is now underway.

The Zushi Beach Film Festival has become a Golden Week event. Have you heard of CINEMA CARAVAN, a collective deeply involved in this event?

This project is a collective of members from various genres, including photographers, musicians, painters, and carpenters, who travel the world under the concept of "playing with the earth" to create a place where people can feel with all five senses, including images, food, music, art, and sports.

This summer, a new space will be created in Niseko, Hokkaido. The main venue will be Hirafu Kogen Central Park, located in the Niseko Shakotan Otaru Kaigan National Park. The high elevation of 285 meters above sea level makes it the perfect place to enjoy activities as well as a summer getaway.

Yotei, is now a special space produced by Cinema Caravan with Niseko's local artists.Niseko Hirafu Green ParkThe new building will be transformed into a "new" building.

Kitchen cars and cafes serving food made from the rich ingredients unique to Niseko will be at the venue.

At times, the outdoor screening screen will rise and become a movie theater, at other times it will be a pump track for mountain biking and skateboarding, a gathering point for trekking, and a cultural melting pot with a variety of content during the festival.

We are making preparations with a special feeling in our hearts because many people who have been involved in Cinema Caravan activities live in Niseko, and our late friends who have been telling us "Someday in Niseko" since we started our activities there loved the place.

The main characters in this film are the local people who live and breathe together with nature and have their roots in Hokkaido and Niseko. Their attitude of living with the snow and talking with their friends while overcoming the harsh winter was serious, strong, and simply heartwarming.

The keyword for this inaugural event is "Center Four. A special lift in Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu, "Ace Center Four No. 2" will be reborn for the winter season of 2024, a special lift in the Niseko ski resort that has welcomed many skiers and fostered a culture of skiing.

I would like to create a space where people can be united by conveying the charm of Niseko's four seasons, which show various faces, through various approaches from video, music, sports, venue production, and food, inspired by the landscapes, emotions, and stories I have seen through "Center Four".
