Starting today.JOURNAL STANDARD OMOTESANDOKING COKE x JOURNAL STANDARD" is a pop-up event of vintage stores held at the "KING COKE x JOURNAL STANDARD". The vintage wear gathered at the event was amazing, so I'd like to report it here.
The four stores participating in this event are Feeet, Calme, Kazzin Time recycler, and Frankybananabomb. Although they are all local stores, they are well-known nationwide among vintage clothing lovers. That's because they all have one thing in common: they are all located in the same area of Japan. These stores were established by the staff who left KING COKE, a famous store in Hiroshima that led the vintage wear movement in the 1990s.
Vintage wear carefully selected from each of these stores has been lined up on the B1F floor of Journal Standard Omotesando. Below are just a few of the items on display.

80's POWELL sweatpants with excellent graphics. Special old skate items must be fought over!

It is interesting to see how Journal Standard is taking a flexible stance that is not bound by the existing select store format, and is proactively taking up what it thinks is interesting. It will be necessary to keep a close eye on the events that JOURNAL STANDARD holds in the future, including this one.
