This flight jacket is the successor to the MA-1 and is based on the CWU-45P, which was officially adopted by the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. While picking up the characteristic design such as the rounded collar and large flap pockets, the jacket has been rearranged in many places, such as by omitting the ribs and shirring, to create a sophisticated look.

The silhouette is a boxy silhouette with slightly shorter length against the rounded shoulders and generously designed body. The body is made of lightweight and durable polyester taffeta with a low-sheen, cotton-like texture. It is a versatile piece that can be worn with a variety of innerwear such as hoodies, shirts, and turtlenecks.

What is difficult when recreating military items in a modern context is the sense of balance. Reproducing them as they are would be too serious, and rearranging them this way and that would result in something else.
