So we decided to hold a group run at the "HOUYHNHNM Running Club♡" to try out the shoes.

The meeting place is our "TOTOKEN". It is a running station with a sauna, run by the "HOUYHNHNM's Running Club♡".

Here are the people who gathered. Although we had advertised for a maximum of 20 people, it was clear that we had exceeded the limit. Is that how many people wanted to try out the comfort of Brooks' new shoes? Well, let's not worry about the details and get on with it.

So, we started running!

This time, the 10-kilometer round course starts from TOTOKEN in Nihonbashi Hamacho, heads north along the right bank of the Sumida River toward Sensoji Temple, and from there, via the Tokyo Sky Tree area, returns to TOTOKEN from the left bank of the Sumida River. This is a greedy route that allows visitors to enjoy the charms of East Tokyo.

Starting from TOTOKEN, it takes less than a minute to reach the promenade along the Sumida River.

One of the charms of TOTOKEN is its location, just a stone's throw from the Sumida River. The "Sumida River Terrace," a promenade along the Sumida River, is wide and easy to run along, and at night you can enjoy a comfortable run while viewing the illuminated bridges and cityscape.

After about 30 minutes of driving from TOTOKEN, we arrived at the Kaminarimon gate of Sensoji Temple!

Kaminarimon, a famous landmark in Asakusa. Although it is a typical sightseeing spot, it is a wonder that the scenery looks different when you reach it by running on your own feet.

On Nakamise-dori, walk leisurely in a sightseeing mood while being mindful of your surroundings.

After a short distance, you will come to the Hozomon gate of Sensoji Temple.

The illuminated Hozomon Gate of Sensoji Temple is truly beautiful. This neighborhood is nice in the daytime, but it is also nice at night.

Now, we are still running after passing through the Sensoji temple precincts. Next, we will head in the direction of Tokyo Sky Tree.

The illuminated Tokyo Sky Tree rises in the darkness of the night. This sight, no matter how many times you see it, is always exciting.

From there, take the promenade on the left bank of the Sumida River southward to .......

We returned to TOTOKEN and finished the run! We finished our 10-kilometer run with a pleasant autumn breeze.

After running, you can take a sauna at TOTOKEN and toast with a beer! TOTOKEN is unique in that it is a one-stop shop for the entire process from run to shower, sauna, and beer.
