Damon Way, co-founder of the skateboarding shoe brand DC Shoes, and Brandon Day, co-founder of the footwear brand The Generic Man, have launched the brand Fact. FACT. （FACT.)
An exhibition celebrating the launch of the capsule collection by "FACT" and the art magazine "Arkitip" will be held at BA-TSU ART GALLERY in Harajuku for three days from today.

A capsule collection consisting of six different T-shirts created around memories of street skating in the 80s, photographed by legendary lensman Grant Brittain. Iconic photographs of the power, style and imagination of the skate scene of the time are used as the canvas, hand-written with Grant's own words.
The T-shirts, dyed in original colors for the launch event, were all produced in Los Angeles. To celebrate the release, a three-day photo exhibition of 30 framed large prints of Grant Britten's 80s skate photos will be on display for sale. In addition, Skatelab, which has one of the world's best collections of skateboards, will also unveil an installation of rare complete decks from the 80s.
Mike D of the Beastie Boys will provide background music for the opening reception, which will begin at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. In the evening, a DJ party will be held at Sankeys TYO in Daikanyama, featuring Mike D, Kan Takagi, HIKARU of BOUNTY HUNTER, Takeshi Kubota, and others.
