The AlchemistIt is an inescapable name if you listen to Hip Hop, and it would be impossible to chronicle all the work he has been involved in over the years of his career as a producer, beatmaker, and rapper, from solo work to mixtapes to various projects.

If there were such a HIP HOP dictionary, The Alchemist, whose name would be written in the most important entry of the alphabet A, has just received big news that they will be performing in Osaka and Nagoya in December.

I don't know where to begin, but without ALCHEMIST, I would not have thought that I would be able to live my life with both feet in the big world of HIPHOP.
Last summer, when I learned that ALCHEMIST was coming to Japan on short notice, I couldn't stand still and went to Manhattan Records in Shibuya to get his autograph. I was so excited to see the real ALCHEMIST, but when I saw him, I was already a boy again, and I could not say what I wanted to say. I remember leaving the place with my heart already empty and sweat dripping on the ground. Everything about him was in that series of gestures.
The first time I heard his music was on a song called "So Fresh" with an artist named Evidence, who he calls his brother-in-law, and I used to play the music video of this song every day in the studio with my buddy febb. The sound of his beats from the ASR-10 had an air, a pressure, an indescribable thickness, and a good shaking in the middle of the speaker, and we were always touching the shaking speaker with our hands, trying to feel it and understand it with our bodies.
His way of life that values his own people can be felt naturally when listening to his music without saying a word, and his style of making music with the same guys and everyone else from the past has had a great impact on my life.
From the whooliganz to the present, there are so many of his works and sound sources, and I can't say that I have listened to them all, but even so, there is a consistent temperature of sound and sense of material selection, and it is clear that his groove has moved significantly over time and that it has changed over the years.
His back is always creating new things, breaking and building, and moving forward, which says it all.
