Harajuku has always been a mecca for fashion in Tokyo, attracting culture-conscious young people throughout the ages, from the hokoten of the 1970s and the DC brand boom of the 1980s to the Urahara of the 1990s.
The Lacoste store will open in such a location.
It is located one street off Meiji-dori, in a corner lined with sneaker stores and famous street brand stores.
The store, which consists of two floors, covers an area of 665 square meters; the first floor features a collection of footwear, including sneakers, while the second floor offers a variety of clothing and other products.
Among the many highlights, the first thing I want to mention is the exclusive polo shirt customization service. In addition to about 70 types of crocodile patches that can be sewn on the spot, you can also have your favorite motifs, letters, or limited-edition graphics embroidered on the shirt. In a space with a dedicated sewing machine, the staff member in charge will create a special piece for you.
In addition to selling the brand's vintage wear and valuable samples from its French factory, the Harajuku store will also feature an exclusive collection.
On the second floor is Le Café Lacoste, Lacoste's first café attached to the store, where customers can enjoy drinks, ice cream, cookies, and other items.
Lacoste Harajuku will open on Saturday, December 16. A new story of a representative French brand will begin in Harajuku.
