In 1917, Homer Campbell, a miner in Arizona, USA, was hard at work wearing the riveted "501® overalls" sold by Levi's®.

After wearing them six days a week for three years, except on Sundays, they naturally fell apart. He found the brand's advertisement at the time, "If you tear a pair, we'll replace it with a new one free of charge," so he packed up his 501® overalls and mailed them to Levi's. The brand's logo on the back of his 501® overalls was "501® Overalls.

The one sent by Homer was recognized as one of the earliest collections in the archives owned by "Levi's®". It may be no exaggeration to say that he was the man who wore the most Levi's® in the world every day until they were falling apart.
