Uniform stitchwork is wonderful, but uneven stitchwork, which can only be achieved through hand embroidery, is also beautiful in its own way. It may be a cliché, but there is a certain depth of taste and warmth that can only be acquired through handwork.

Mountain Research's collaborative collection with Otakara NYC, a New York-based hand-embroidery artist Satoshi Suzuki, is an excellent example of this charm.

The items, which have a crafty and alternative sense, as if they were made by hippies in the 70's, are available in four types: BD shirts, T-shirts, caps, and sweatshirts. The BD shirts, T-shirts, and BB caps are hand-embroidered with animal motifs, a specialty of "Mountain Research. The thickness of the stitches is changed in places and shaded with different colors to create a three-dimensional, graphical finish.

The sweatshirt, on the other hand, is based on the motif of the hut bird, the mascot of "Mountain Research," and is a freaky piece that is bursting with Satoshi Suzuki's playful spirit. As you can see from the photos, the more you look at both sweatshirts, the more you can tell that they are very intricate.

Because they are hand-embroidered, the sizes and designs are all assorted. They are what we all love to call "one-of-a-kind".
