Can workwear be elegant? Take a look at the second installment of Sakai and Carhartt WIP to find out.

One of the collaborations that got fashion geeks fired up last year was the collaboration betweenSacai” and “Carhartt WIP (Carhartt WIP)I'm sure many of you have fresh memories of this event. I am sure that many of you have fresh memories of this event.

The second part of this series will be available starting next week.

This collection features 18 pieces. The highlight of the collection is the unique fabrics.

The iconic canvas fabric from Carhartt WIP and suiting fabric from Sakai are bonded together using bonding technology to create an inside-out look, bringing the fabric that would normally be on the inside to the surface.

The combination of the different qualities of canvas and suiting fabrics has something in common with the hybrid aesthetic of "Sacai.

Other items include women's coats that incorporate fabrics from the Carhartt WIP into standard Sakai designs, and men's outerwear that can be worn reversibly. The men's items are impressive with outerwear that can be worn reversibly, such as a coat that combines the "OG Chore Coat" and "Siberian Parka" and a jacket that combines the "Detroit Jacket" and "OG Chore Coat". The result is a unique fusion of iconic models.

And not only the clothes, but also the campaign visuals. It features Detroit-based ghetto tech trio HiTech and musician and model Soo Joo Park, known for their dream pop sound.

In Japan, the brand will be available at a pop-up store on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku's main building, The Stage, from February 21 (Wed), on the official websites of both brands from February 22 (Thu), and at sacai Aoyama and Shinsaibashi PARCO from February 23 (Fri).
