Frame ¥51,700 each

The two colors chosen for the glasses this time are red and blue, inspired by the abstract paintings of Josef Albers, a German artist. The colors are edgy for glasses, but the saturation is kept low and the tone is subdued, giving the glasses a smart appearance.

The front is made of 6mm thick fabric partially cut down to 4mm using the cut trim method to create a three-dimensional design. Cutting is done by hand, one by one, by skilled craftsmen.

Another major feature of this year's collection is the yoloi, which expresses the detail of the metal parts.

Sunglasses ¥56,100 each

The sunglasses are inspired by Josef's art, which is a graphic arrangement of colors. The blue frames are matched with red lenses and the red frames with blue lenses, creating a daringly contrasting color palette.
