Ryu Okubo's solo exhibition "1:40:03:02-1:40:06:04" features 33 new paintings and animation.

Artist Ryu Okubo has attracted attention through his music videos and has shown a variety of expressions such as drawings, paintings, three-dimensional objects, and games.

In recent years, he has been devoting himself more to creating his own works, and his first solo exhibition in two years, "1:40:03:02-1:40:06:04," will begin in March.

In this exhibition, while pursuing abstraction as a painting, the artist challenged himself to create a realistic expression that becomes more tangible when viewed in succession. The exhibition features 33 new paintings and animations, each carefully scrutinized one by one for the dots, lines, and other elements that make up the movement of an animation.
