The charm of Hermes is concentrated! A new restaurant with a terrace is now open in Azabudai Hills.

One of the hottest spots in Tokyo is Azabudai Hills. This next-generation facility, where greenery and buildings are in harmony, is truly an urban oasis.

The HERMÈS store was established in such a place.

Facing the central plaza of "Azabudai Hills," the new store is a two-story building that looks like two linked buildings. The facade is beautifully covered with translucent glass sandwiched between sheets of Japanese paper, and the interior is filled with pleasant natural light.

There are two entrances. One is located on the floor for the men's collection, and the other is located in the space for fragrances, fashion accessories, and the women's collection. Both are adorned with mosaic-patterned tiles that symbolize the Maison.

The first floor also offers a wide variety of fragrances.

The open space in the center of the first floor features a collection of leather goods, jewelry, watches, and saddlery. Two fitting rooms and a private salon are also available on this floor.

The second floor, reached by an elevator, is a floor dedicated to the home collection and other items. Low tables, two-seater sofas, chairs, game consoles, and even turntables are all on display, and you will find that Hermès is more than just fashion.

On the second floor, there is a terrace overlooking the central plaza where visitors can take a break. The trees planted here are apple trees. In fact, apple trees are symbolic of the rooftop garden of the Faubourg Saint-Honoré store in Paris, where they are also grown.

The terrace, planted with apple trees, is a place for relaxation. In the back is French artist Sylvie Aubré's ceramic work "Petite Bulle" (2022).

To celebrate the opening of the store, orange juice will be served to visitors to Azabudai Hills at the Orangery in the plaza in front of the store until March 3 (Sun.), and a performance by the French entertainment group "Compagnie des Quidams" will take place twice a day (from 14:00 〜and from 5:30 p.m.) twice a day.

This year marks 45 years since Hermes opened its first store in Tokyo. It seems that this store will become a special place loved by adults.
