Yakushima is home to abundant nature, including virgin forests such as Yakusugi cedars, peaks approaching 2,000 meters in elevation, and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The Yakushima Environment and Culture Foundation's idea of "creating a region that coexists with nature" was supported by the opening of the store this time, with the aim of conveying the magnificent nature of Yakushima and the islanders' lifestyle of living in harmony with nature.
