Rain jacket and rain pants made of 7 denier fabric, the thinnest fabric in the PERTEX SHIELD AIR line. The highly breathable material has been chosen to ensure that they can be worn without overheating.
Surprisingly, the jacket and pants are among the lightest of the three-layer rainwear, weighing 104g and 85g, respectively. Pockets were eliminated, and the thinnest watertight fasteners available were used. The seam tapes have also been changed to half their normal thickness to reduce weight by 1g. In addition, the softness of the waterproof fabric and the trail runner-oriented details that allow the garment to be put on and taken off over a sack or shoes are also key points.
