Archite ORU" reflects Kuma's policy of "visiting construction sites and listening to local people. The search was on for a structure that would allow the wearer to wear the shoes all the way from road conditions such as construction sites to relaxing scenes at hotels, without having to change shoes. The answer was a two-layer upper design.
The upper is made of two layers, the cover and the see-through inner layer, while being variable to provide versatility for a variety of uses. The cover is made of Dyneema, a highly durable material found in outdoor gear. It has no problem being handled tough, is lightweight yet can be used vigorously, and has excellent functionality that does not flood even if it gets wet in the rain.
In addition, the elastic lacing structure extending from the outside to the inside of the shoe can be removed, allowing the wearer to enjoy the comfort of wearing them like sandals. The midsole is made of highly cushioned "FF BLAST" and the outsole is made of "ASICSGRIP" with excellent grip, creating a pair that is easy to walk in and highly practical.
