Nomichi Knit ¥28,600
The "field road" was inspired by the image of a busy rice field road where wildflowers along the roadside compete with each other to grow to maturity, such as white cloud-like flowers and broom-like grasses that keep growing and growing.
The diagonal pattern on the sides of the body and the large, uneven pattern on the back of the body represent wildflowers growing to maturity by the roadside, while the plain jersey knitting in the center of the body represents a rice paddy road.
The linen yarn used gives it a soft sheen, excellent water absorbency and wicking properties, and a cool, refreshing finish with a light feel.
Ogawa Henley Knit (Ogawa) ¥25,850
. This one is a "brook" that evokes the image of a school of tiny fish swimming sparkling in a gently flowing irrigation channel.
The plain jersey knit of the base represents the gentle flow of water, while the small triangles on the shoulders represent a school of small fish shining in the sunlight.
The technique of plaiting, in which different yarns are knitted on the front and back sides, is used, and two different colors of yarn are used on the front and back sides to give the garment a deep look.
