Hikari Shibata is a model known for her genuine love of "adidas Originals. Last year, she supervised five models based on the "FORUM 84 LOW," "RIVALRY 86 LOW," and "CAMPUS 00s," and now she has teamed up with adidas Originals again. This time, "GAZELLE INDOOR" will be released, infused with Shibata's unique essence.

These shoes should be able to be worn for many years, and the wearer should be able to enjoy the changing texture of the shoes as they are worn. These are the two premises of this work. While nylon is used for the upper, suede is used for the toe and eye stays, and leather for the lining. By matching the tones of the different materials used, the design is cohesive. The shoe also has a DATE column on the tongue where the date can be entered and a NAME column where initials can be written, details that are unique to Mr. Shibata, who envisions his own daily use.
