A peaceful place where art and nature merge. A new gallery will appear in Komazawa Park. From the first day of opening, there will be works by Komatsu Soul Cutter!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a place where you could enjoy art more casually, just like stopping by a cafe? A new hot spot is opening that will make such a wish come true.

It was the other day.HOUYHNHNM's articlee2 gallery" is located on the second floor of TONE, which was also introduced in the previous section, right in front of Komazawa Park.

The interior of the gallery is like this. It features a harmonious mood where you can enjoy the fusion of nature and art.

Here, we offer a genre-less selection of works by artists from Japan and abroad. There will also be a special exhibition of limited edition works and craft works available only at "e2 gallery".

The first commemorative exhibit, which opens on Saturday, June 15, will feature the work of printmaker Komatsu Soulcutter.

Before his death, Mr. Komatsu Soulcutter was mainly engaged in silkscreening and copperplate engraving, and provided works for the big band Shibusanai Zu and Kiyoshiro Imawano. This year's exhibition will be a special gathering of his early color works, unpublished copperplate prints, and other works that are well worth seeing in order to pay tribute to his activities.

All items displayed in this exhibition are available for purchase in the online store. In addition, please look out for the gallery's limited-edition T-shirts.

A reception party will be held on June 14 (Fri.), the day before the opening, so it would be nice to drop by while having cafe time at "Tone" on the first floor. Anyone is welcome to attend, so feel free to come by.
