Three's new fragrance aromatically expresses the afterglow of rain. The installation will be held at two locations in Shibuya.

Scent" has the power to stimulate people's introspection by evoking memories and emotions.

Beauty brand THREE has developed a fragrance called "Essential Scents," which is inspired by nature and made entirely from essential oils.

With the release of the new work, a mobile installation "THE ROOM OF (IN)SCENTS" has begun, allowing visitors to experience its world view.

This project, first unveiled at the Fukuoka Art Book Fair 2024, will be held at two locations: VISIONARIUM THREE SHIBUYA from June 20 (Thu) and CIBONE from July 10 (Wed).

At the venue, a box-shaped space made of lightweight steel frame used for "FLOW," a project by spatial designer Daisuke Yamamoto to reuse materials, will be set up. In this space, visitors can experience the fragrance along with artwork related to the theme of the new work, "Beyond the Rain.

At "Visionarium Three Shibuya," which opens today, book director Kazuki Arichi has curated a collection of novels, poems, and essays related to "rain," inspired by the fragrances of his new works "05 AFTER THE RAIN" and "06 TASTE THE AIR. Poet Toshi Sugawara's reading can be heard in the space as audio content. On Saturday, July 6, an event will be held with poet Kon Ito as a guest speaker.

The exhibition will also be held at CIBONE from July 10 (Wed.). From "An Anticipation," a collection of photographs by photographer Norimasa Harada, a group of works will be exhibited that evoke the inspiration for the fragrance, including the moist earth holding the blessings of rain, the woody depths of a forest, the sweet transparency after the rain, and the lingering scent of wind.
