The Yomiuri Giants are the oldest professional baseball team in Japan. Many people may think of orange as the team's image color, but the uniforms worn by the players today were different from the usual, with a familiar "that blue" color.
The Yomiuri Giants have collaborated with Tiffany & Co. to produce uniforms to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the team's founding. The team's managers, coaches, and players will wear the uniforms for the upcoming two-day "Tiffany & Co. Day" on September 7 (Sat.) and 8 (Sun.) against DeNA at the Tokyo Dome.
The special design of the collaboration uniforms is based on the "TG" logo designed by Tiffany & Co. and is adorned with "Tiffany Blue," the symbol of the brand and loved around the world.
The Tiffany & Co. logo is below the number on the back. This is the first time in NPB history that a luxury jewelry brand's logo has been used on the uniforms.
At the presentation held on Thursday, June 20, in front of 200 pairs of 400 members of the official fan club "CLUB GIANTS," four players, Kazuma Okamoto, Hisayoshi Nagano, Tomoyuki Kanno, and Shoyuki Togo, appeared and talked about their enthusiasm and thoughts about wearing these special uniforms.

Shintaro Tachibanada, president of Tiffany & Co. Japan, also took the stage, and Okamoto concluded the event by saying, "I want to make "Tiffany & Co. Day" a great game and make it exciting, so that we can win the championship trophy of the Central League (designed by Tiffany & Co.). He concluded the presentation by expressing his enthusiasm for the event.
The schedule for ticket sales for the "Tiffany & Co. Day" will be announced at a later date. Please note that the collaboration uniforms, caps, and socks will not be sold.
The KONAMI Presents Women's Baseball Exchange Game" between the Yomiuri Giants Women's Team and the Hanshin Tigers Women will be held after the game against DeNA (Tokyo Dome) on Saturday, July 13, and the Giants Women's Team will wear these uniforms first. Don't miss it!
