A hair salon by the tag team of Carrier Ring and Kate Taylor opened in Omotesando. Advisors were Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragments , and architect Nobuo Araki.

A new hair salon will hold its grand opening in the Omotesando area on August 1, 2012 (Thursday).

The two companies involved in this project are the piercing brand "CAREERING," for which Shota Matsuda serves as art director, and the hair salon "KATETAYLOR," which has four stores in Aoyama, Omotesando, and Kumamoto, and of which Kimitaka Kinoshita is the president. Both have many fans in various fields with their sophisticated, beautiful, and clean worldview, so they are sure to attract attention in the blink of an eye.

The "CAREERING SALON by KATETAYLOR" is a perfect harmony of each person's thoughts and identity, and while the mere fact of this tag team is intriguing, there are other surprising features. The advisors include Hiroshi Fujiwara, whose collaboration with "CAREERING" was a big hit, and Nobuo Araki, an architect who has designed stores for numerous fashion brands.

The commercial movie that has just been released introduces the exterior and part of the interior, and the official website will be launched on July 25 (Thu.), so check out the movie and make reservations as soon as possible if you are interested. A special one-night-only party will be held on Monday, July 29, at the Omotesando event space "WALL&WALL" to celebrate the opening. The event will feature live beat box and DJ performances by some of Japan's leading artists, so be sure to visit the party as well.
