Elsa Peretti was appointed designer of Tiffany & Co. in 1974, and over the next five years she created more than 30 collections for the company.
Elsa's collections are still at the heart of the Maison. The "Bottle," "Open Heart," "Bean Design," and "Bone Cuff" collections are still at the heart of the Maison.
To honor her achievements, Tiffany & Co. has placed two models on its sales floor this year, the "Bone Ring" and the "Split Ring," to commemorate the 50th anniversary of her inauguration.
. Both rings were inspired by the Bone Cuff. The rings were inspired by Elsa's childhood visits to the Capuchin Crypt in Rome and Antonio Gaudi's Casa Mila. Elsa, who passed away at the age of 80, once said, "All jewelry should be seductive , yet comfortable to wear.
The two materials are 18k yellow gold and sterling silver. Sterling silver should be confirmed at the sales floor.
