Sixty years of Paul Smith from a tailoring perspective. An exhibition that approaches the origins of the brand will start soon.

Paul Smith is a brand that has brought humor to the strictly English world of suits and established its own unique style.

The announced exhibition, "Frames Surrounding Photography: 60 Years of Paul Smith Tailoring," will be a good opportunity for visitors to learn more about the brand's history.

Paul himself likens the suit to "a frame that surrounds a photograph or painting.

This exhibition introduces the past and present of tailoring, which is at the heart of the Paul Smith story. The exhibition will also feature archival pieces, an introduction to the designer's philosophy, video content, and more.

A store attached to the exhibition site will sell items from the fall/winter 2024 season. The men's suit shown in the photo commemorates the exhibition and is lined with one of the most popular prints from the collection to date.

This year is also a milestone year for Paul Smith, marking the 40th anniversary of the opening of its first street store in Japan and the 30th anniversary of the birth of its women's collection.

This exhibition, which will be held at this time, will start on October 2 (Wed.). The venue is "Space O" on the 3rd basement floor of Omotesando Hills.
