In the article, Ms. Mochizuki talks not only about Jeep®, but also about her way of life, her musical influences, and her hobby of fishing. The personal belongings introduced here are items related to fishing and tools used in his work.
Yui Mochizuki / Stylist
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. Studied under stylist Kazuo Ishima and became independent in 1994. While working mainly for fashion magazines, he has also styled many artists and actors. He has also worked as a director for various fashion brands, including RICO and HOWL, and is currently the creative director of Apple & Attitude.
Stylists face a wide variety of items. The aesthetic sense he has honed in this job is sharper than anyone else's, and he is uncompromising. Please take a look at Mr. Mochizuki's specialties along with his words.
Jacket and waders "SOUTH2 WEST8
The jacket is very useful because of its large pockets. I always carry several lure cases when I go fishing, and it holds them securely. I recently bought a pair of waders. They were comfortable, easy to move in, and breathable. Waders are hard to find in good designs, but these are very simple and to my liking. I like them.
Shoes "KORKER'S
It has a BOA lacing system that uses wires to adjust the tightness of the upper, so it is really easy to put on and take off even when wearing waders. The rubber soles are easy to put on and take off, and can be replaced with felt soles. The all-black design is also very attractive.
Fishing rods, reels [Shimano (SHIMANO)], nets [PROX (PROX)
I brought a short, stiff rod for mountain streams today. When I fish mountain streams, I need to control the lure well, so I prefer a rod that doesn't flex. I am not using a very expensive reel, but I have no complaints about its weight or ease of use (laughs). The net is a recent purchase. I chose a rubber net item to avoid damaging the fish. Many nets are patterned, but this one is not. The slightly modern look was the deciding factor in my purchase.
Tools for Phishing
"I store my lures in a small case so that I can easily carry them with me when I am mountain stream fishing. But I usually fish at a controlled fishing spot. On those occasions, I put the large case next to it and enjoy fishing while checking the effectiveness of the various tools. It's just a plain case, so I put stickers on it to give it my own originality.
Portable speaker "Marshall" (Marshall)
This is the item I use for camping. I like it because it has a very good sound for its compact size. I used to have something bigger than this, but it was heavy and powered by dry batteries, so I was a little dissatisfied with it. But this one is easy to carry and rechargeable, so it's very useful. I used to have one of this brand's amplifiers, but it belongs to my son now (laughs).
Bag "GREGORY × BEAMS
I always carry my camping tools in this bag. 180 degree opening makes it easy to put things in and out, and it's very convenient because you can see at a glance where you put everything. It is also perfect in terms of capacity because I can really pack everything in it, including dishes, cutlery, and gas cans. It can also be used as a shoulder bag or a backpack, so I can use it in different ways depending on the situation.
Handy table "BUNDOK
I bought it because of its size and cost-effectiveness, which is just right for camping by myself. I also like the lean design. I also like that it is very compact when folded, making it easy to carry around."
Helinox" portable chair
I have tried many different camping chairs and this one is very comfortable. Not only is it lightweight, but it is also very comfortable because it is well balanced. In fact, I have another one in red."
Blanket "Horse Blanket Research
This is an item I use to cover the luggage in my car. Because of my profession, I often carry a lot of outfits in my car, so I use this blanket to keep them out of sight. I like the austere color scheme of this blanket. I don't get a chance to use it when camping. I keep it in my car for the purposes I just mentioned.
Carry Wagon "TENT FACTORY
I live in an apartment where the parking lot is a long way from my room, so it's difficult for me to get my work clothes in and out of the car. I use this carry-on to carry my luggage to the parking lot. When I saw this at a campsite, I immediately wanted one, so I checked it out and bought one right away. The camouflage type was just recently released, and this is actually my second one (laughs).
Back "The North Face (THE NORTH FACE)
I have two other bags of the same type that I use to carry my wardrobe. I have two more bags of the same type, and I also put my wardrobe in them. I like that they are very sturdy. Sometimes I style a lot of people in one shoot, so sometimes I have to use all three bags at once.
