Nobuyoshi Araki's exhibition "Nasty Autumn" will be held from September 9 (Fri.) at the Harajuku art spaceAMThe exhibition will be held at the "KARAKURI" Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. Following last year's "Lewd Summer" and "Lewd Winter," this is the third exhibition of Araki's work. In addition to unique works made by joining cut-up instant films together, the latest work features instant films of women and flowers combined with Araki's own calligraphy.
Inspired by works by such predecessors as Katsushika Hokusai, a leading figure in Japanese painting, and Nagai Kafu, as well as classic books, this work further highlights Araki's powerful spirituality in the delicate and beautiful photographs. In addition to the photographs, please also take note of the "Araki's character," which has been highly acclaimed around the world.
